Our latest technological advance is to go back to analogue with a 40 year old film camera weighing several kilograms called the Mamiya RB67, which stands for 6:7 format rotating back, i.e. it can be 6″ x 7″ or 7″ by 6″ without having to rotate the actual brick of a camera.
We thought we’d hit the ground running, but coming back to film for the first time in 30 years has not been as easy as all that, especially with a totally mechanical camera that doesn’t even have a meter built into it. There is a lot to learn, but it is very exciting, especially knowing the huge prints one can get from the results.
